 Phosphor Screen

P-43 (15 micron) with Aluminum (500Å) overcoat standard

Phosphor type, Please state desired phosphor type and conductive coating type if required

Metal anode in place of phosphor screen, particle detection applications. (Reduces cost of base system. Usually specified with no viewport chamber option(see below)).

   Vacuum chamber viewport type

Standard window is welded pyrex glass window.

Options included:

  Pyrex, Removeable.

  Quartz, Removeable.

  Fused Silica, Removeable.

  Sapphire, Removeable.

  Fiberoptic/phosphor screen window, removeable.

No Viewport (Reduces cost of base system. Normally specified with metal anode for particle detection only).

  Feedthroughs

Standard feedthroughs are MHV, 5kV with feedthrough orientation out of EDGE of flange.

  SHV, 5kV.

  SHV-B, 7.5kV. (Phosphor screen only)

50 Ohm BNC Feedthrough for metal anode connection.  Particle detection systems with metal anode configuration.

Feedthrough orientation- Out of FACE of flange.

Imager/Detector Shield

MCP/Phosphor screen assembly has a shield assembly at front of imager/detector to shield MCP/phosphor potentials from incoming beam. This shield is normally grounded to vacuum chamber.

Floating shield. Attached to MCP front connection. Allows MCP front to be biased to a potential        other than ground.
